CNA Grants Universidad Andrés Bello Institutional Accreditation of Excellence for six years
On Thursday, November 10, the National Accreditation Commission granted accreditation to UNAB in all areas: Institutional Management, Undergraduate Teaching, Graduate Teaching, Outreach, and Research.
This morning, the National Accreditation Commission (CNA) met to decide on the accreditation of Universidad Andrés Bello, recognizing the institution among the select group of universities certified for Excellence and granting it six years of institutional accreditation in all areas.
It should be noted that in Chile, only 13 universities -including UNAB- are rated at the CNA level of excellence, and of these, only three are non-traditional private universities.
UNAB President Julio Castro was very satisfied and said that «the National Accreditation Commission ratified something we have been working for as a community for decades: the ironclad commitment to quality. This accreditation places us at the level of excellence of the CNA, that is, within the select group of the best universities in Chile. This step makes us proud and sets a new stage with even more challenges».
President Castro added that «next year, our new Institutional Strategic Plan will come into effect, which looks to the future with ambition and deepens our commitment to provide more and better opportunities for our students, adhering strictly to quality education, innovating and connecting us more with our environment. We will continue contributing to the development of our community and the country».
It should be noted that this Institutional Accreditation is the fifth for Universidad Andrés Bello, which demonstrates the commitment of its entire community to quality and meeting the expectations of its students, families, and society in general.
